PASTOR’S PEN
Beloved, as we enter Chapter Twelve of the Book of Revelation we begin to
unfold the story behind the redemption of mankind. Since the beginning of the
world there has been this battle between the woman, the dragon and the child.
The woman is Israel, the dragon is Satan and the child is Jesus Christ. So as we
study through this important portion of scripture, let us be keenly aware of this
battle and yet understand that Christ’s death has won the battle for us! I anticipate
taking two full weeks to go through this portion of Scripture. It is that important.
As a side note I would like to ask you for your prayers. Beginning tomorrow I will
be in Southern California for the Calvary Chapel Senior Pastor’s Retreat. Pray that
the Lord would use this time to speak to the hearts of all the Calvary pastor’s in
attendance and also for a time of rest in the Lord. I will return before next Sunday
as we continue our study through the Book of Revelation.

Men’s Retreat: MAN UP!! October 16 – 18 @ Alto Frio Baptist Encampment. Cost is
$115/person. Non-refundable deposit of $60 due by 9/1/14. Remaining balance due
