Saint Felix School, Southwold In partnership with Humberstone Farm, Great Yarmouth Invites you to their NSEA GRASS ROOTS SHOW JUMPING COMPETITION To be held at Great Yarmouth On Saturday 9th June 2012 Team and Individual classes for all 40cm to 80cm (Lead Rein teams and individuals welcome in 40cm) For the Grass Roots Regional Points League Three shows to be held across East Anglia Humberstone Farm, The Jays and Lime Kiln 21st july with a points league qualifying for a fun filled Regional Championship To be held at Easton College, Christmas 2012 Which will be generously sponsored by John Egmore Equestrian Supplies NSEA Grass Roots Show Jumping Classes A Best Turned Out Rosette will be awarded in each class across the series sponsored by Saint Felix School, Southwold 9.30am start All will run in drawn order Times to be emailed by Wed 6th June to the Team Leader Class 1 Team and Individuals Level 1 Jumping – 2 phase Approx 40cm Lead Rein welcome Class will be split into LR and NON LR Rosettes to 10th place, all competitors placed above 10th with a clear round will be presented with a clear round rosette. Class 2 Individuals – 50cm Single phase Class 3 Team – 50cm Single phase Class 4 Individuals – 60cm Single phase Class 5 Team – 60cm Single Phase Class 1-5 - All rules of British Showjumping except 3 stops will be allowed. Ponies may be shared by two riders in the same class. Class 6 Team then Individuals Mini – 70cm Single Phase Class 7 Team then Individuals Novice – 80cm Single Phase Entry fees: £10 per rider £2 first aid. £35 per team Rosettes to 6th place Team must consist of 3 0r 4 riders. The best 3 rounds to count. Undercover barn to stand in if wet RULES: Schools must be members of the NSEA to compete. For full details of NSEA membership and rules for NSEA SJ classes and rules for Grass Roots classes, please refer to www.nsea.co.uk •This event will run under BS Rules and NSEA General Rules 2012. •Class 1 will be run as teams first then individuals. •Competitors are responsible for being ready when called. Please arrive at your class at least ten minutes before your start time . •Age of competitors as at 1st January 2012 •Teams must consist of at least 3 different riders. •A rider may only compete once in each team. •No horse may compete in more than 3 classes or be ridden more than once in each classes 6 & 7. •Only the Team Manager of each school is to deal with the secretary for declarations, enquiries, objections etc. •Objections must be made in writing to the Show Secretary within 5 minutes of the conclusion of the relevant class with a £30 deposit. Video or photographic evidence is not admissible. •It is the responsibility of the team manager to declare their competitors on arrival at the venue and collect the numbers. Anyone entering this competition will be deemed to have agreed to abide by the rules in this schedule and on the NSEA website. The organisers reserve the right to cancel the event, subject to entry fee refunds (less £2 per competitor).
