FOREWORD This handbook is made to assist our students in understanding the system, structure, and process of learning in the Masters of Management Program of Universitas Gadjah Mada (MMUGM Program). The coordination of managerial education in the MMUGM Program adopts a credit unit system applied in a trimester pattern, with each consisting of 4 months. With this system, the MMUGM Program endeavours to provide the students with strong knowledge and comprehension needed in producing apt business decisions. By developing a structured system of managerial education as such, the students of the MMUGM Program are required to have great discipline and high commitment in order to be able to participate and succeed in the learning process from beginning to end. Moreover, the curriculum developed in the MMUGM Program is directed toward assisting the students in polishing strong characteristics of leadership and is expected to develop good business behaviours based on a moral and ethical principle. Therefore, the MMUGM Program supports various extracurricular activities which are hoped to bring a balanced pattern between academic and non-academic achievements. Hopefully, by referring to the contents of this handbook, our students would succeed in the academic field, which shall bring further achievement in their long term career. Success in education and career requires process which must be undergone with high commitment supported by a consistent performance –all for one goal, realizing a better tomorrow.
