FOREWORD
This handbook is made to assist our students in understanding the system, structure, and
process of learning in the Masters of Management Program of Universitas Gadjah Mada
(MMUGM Program). The coordination of managerial education in the MMUGM Program
adopts a credit unit system applied in a trimester pattern, with each consisting of 4 months.
With this system, the MMUGM Program endeavours to provide the students with strong
knowledge and comprehension needed in producing apt business decisions. By developing
a structured system of managerial education as such, the students of the MMUGM
Program are required to have great discipline and high commitment in order to be able to
participate and succeed in the learning process from beginning to end.
Moreover, the curriculum developed in the MMUGM Program is directed toward assisting
the students in polishing strong characteristics of leadership and is expected to develop
good business behaviours based on a moral and ethical principle. Therefore, the MMUGM
Program supports various extracurricular activities which are hoped to bring a balanced
pattern between academic and non-academic achievements.
Hopefully, by referring to the contents of this handbook, our students would succeed in the
academic field, which shall bring further achievement in their long term career. Success in
