For each of the fundamental elements, description, and future perspectives will be the main discussion issues in the lecture. More specifically, core elements like International economics, Trade policy of exporting/importing countries, Comparative advantage and mutually beneficial trade, Practice of forest products trade and Multilateral trade negotiations: GATT and WTO...etc., will be focused. In addition, for students, since Mainland China has become a great competitor in the Forest Products trade, special attention will also be given to this area. The lecturers of this course hope, after learning the above-mentioned issues, all students would first, have a clearer picture of International Trade in Wood and Wood Products, and second, create more ideas for his/her own Career planning, future business, and/or International Trade research.
