But until you reach that stage, you should pray to God according to the need of circumstances. For strength to discharge duties, for capacity to abide in dharma, for rising above attachment and temptation and trial of prarabdha, you need the divine aid and succour. In prayer, you are conscious of your littleness, your utter dependence on the Supreme. That paves the way to humility, which is essential for the descent of grace and answer to prayer.” -- Divine Mother Rama Devi (Divine Mother Tara Devi garlanding Divine Mother Rama Devi) MOBILE: -9447285405 Email: -ramadevimandir@yahoo.co.in TELE: -PRESIDENT (RES):-04872332262 SECRETARY (RES):-04872305500 (PTO) . TEACHINGS OF POOJYA SREE BHAGAWAN TRUE SANYAS-------------True sanyas is not leading a secluded life or wearing colored robes and wandering around begging for one’s food. The sanyasins shaved head stands for tyaga or renunciation of desires. The river he bathes in signifies vairagya. The kamandalu symbolizes the service he must render to humanity and the water in it is the love with which he should serve. The guru robe is the symbol of the fire of aspiration for self-realizations and the asana on which he sits signifies prarabdha. When you surrender to Divine Mother, She takes the responsibility of guiding you and you become a real sanyasin even when dwelling in the world. Real sanyas comes in the wake of a change in mental attitude by reposing faith in the Guru. Let us become real sanyasins and work for humanity who are Mothers children and your own brothers and sisters. RADHA KRISHNA BHAVAM Mrs.T.N.K.Nayar (The scene is Divine Mother’s visit to Kerala varma’s palace, Trichur in 1950 during which Mother had gone to Krishna Bhava) “The very incarnation of Love in radiant beauty we saw Mother approaching and from the midst of crowd with a single sweep of Her arms, Mother gathered Tharakka like a flower. As for Tharakka she lost body consciousness at the touch of Mother the pupils of Her eyes fixed upwards became totally invisible and her pure charming face reflected the radiance of Mother as Krishna. Taking Tharakka in arms with effortless ease, the golden footsteps of mother hardly touching the ground in that dance of ethereal beauty, the devotees saw an enchanting picture of Radha and Krishna personified The lovely Lotus Feet appeared to dance merrily in the throbbing hearts of all Bhakthas (devotees). Even now we feel a heavenly delight on remembering those enchanted hours. Mentally and spiritually we were in Brindavan. We were like Gopis of that that enchanted place, bound in that love, going beyond name and form, mind and speech. All the Leelas of Krishna, the Bhakthas (devotees) had read in the Bhagavatam and contemplated for years were enacted before us. (This extract is taken from Mrs.T.N.K.Nayar’s book’ Mother and Bhagawan’. Smt.Prema Satish of Trivandrum sent this extract and relevant photos. We are thankful to Smt Prema) RAMA SAKTHI MISSION BULLETIN NO19 PAGE 2 (PTO) WORDS OF WISDOM 1."Where does God dwell?" "Wherever you let Him in." -(Kotzker Rebbe) 2."What we want is muscles of iron and nerves of steel. We have wept long enough. No more weeping, but stand on your feet and be men" – (Swami Vivekananda) 3. Everything has its wonders, even darkness and silence, and I learn, whatever state I may be in, therein to be content." -- -(Helen Keller) 4. Remember: if you can cease all restless activity, your integral nature will appear. --(Hua Hu Ching) 5.I am only acting as a mirror to your life, in which you can see yourself as you are; then you can throw away the mirror; the mirror is not important.---(J. Krishnamurti) 6.He offers no ancestral oblations; he praises nobody, blames nobody, and is never dependent on anyone. He has no need to repeat the mantram; no more need to practice meditation. The world of change and changeless Reality are one to him, for he sees all in God. (Upanishads) UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER This incident has a message to convey that our surrender should be complete and not conditional. It is also from the experiences of Sri.T.N.K.Nayar. It was the time of construction of Mandir building in Trivandrum.Sri.T.N.K.Nayar was supervising the construction work. The inaguration was fixed for a certain date. It was rainy season and the work was slow. The concreting work of the main roof could not be done because of incessant rain .The date of inauguration was fast approaching and at last Sri.Nayar decided to inform Divine Mother who was in Mangalore, the situation. . He contacted Divine Mother and said that if he could get a day on which from morning 8-00 to night 8-00 without rain, he can complete the concreting of the main roof. Divine Mother blessed him and asked him to go on with faith in Mother.Sri Nayar was having deep faith in Divine Mother and he decided to start concreting on a day. The rain was torrential in the early morning, but Sri Nayar decided to start work. Workers were little confused. Anyway they all came for work. Exactly at 8-00 in the morning rain stopped and work started. With maximum number of workers, he somehow finished work before 7-00 in the evening Nayar was relieved of tension and he went home. After reaching home he was resting for sometime. It was exactly 8-00 in the night .The roaring rain came and heavy downpour started..Sri Nayar jumped up from the place where he was sitting .He ran out of the house and called some people and somehow managed to cover the roof where concreting was done. Days after when he met Divine Mother he said to Mother about this incident. Then Mother said,”Nayar, you have to learn how to surrender. Your surrender was conditional .You asked to Mother to keep away rain from morning 8 to 8 at night. A real devotee’s prayer would be to keep away rain and make the work successful.” Sri Nayar learned a lesson from that incident. --- K.N.KRISHNAN NAMBOODIRI RAMA SAKTHI MISSION BULLETIN NO19 PAGE3 (PTO) LALITHA ASHTOTHRAM 2.Himalchala Mahavamsa Pavanai Namah!
