Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) is one of the leading Kenyan public universities known for training professionals in a wide variety of disciplines. JKUAT has opened a centre in Arusha offering a number of programmes. The JKUAT ARUSHA CENTRE is at OLORIEN MTOTO
HOUSE about 3 kilometers from Arusha city centre at Olorien off Njiro road. The centre is registered with the Tanzania Commission for Universities.
Applications are invited from qualified applicants in the following programmes for January 2012 intake.
POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES: 1. Human Resource Management 2. Project Management
Minimum Admission Requirements
I.
Be a holder of a Higher National Diploma or an Advanced Diploma from a recognized institution, OR
II.
A holder of a Bachelor’s degree at pass level in any discipline from a recognized University.
3. Entrepreneurship
Tuition: Tsh 2,268,000 Duration: 1year (2 semesters)
DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES: 1. Diploma in HIV/AIDS Management & Counseling
Minimum Admission Requirements
I.
Be a holder of Advanced Level Certificate with at least one principal pass and a subsidiary in Biology with total points not below 1.5 obtained from scoring: A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1, S=0.5, F=0, OR
II.
An appropriate equivalent certificate with distinction or credit, OR
III.
Form IV with at least three credits (C and above) and at least a pass (D) in Biology and English/Kiswahili.

Minimum Admission Requirements
I.
Be a holder of Advanced Level Certificate with at least one principal pass in relevant subjects with total points not below 1.5 obtained from scoring: A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1, S=0.5, F=0 OR

Be a holder of Ordinary Level Certificate with at least three credits and a pass in English or Kiswahili, OR
III.
Be a holder of an appropriate equivalent certificate with distinction or credit.
Tuition: Tsh 747,360 Duration: 2 years
CERTIFICATE PROGRAMMES: 1. Certificate in Purchasing & Inventory Management

Minimum Admission Requirements
