Wash face with their Cleanser of choice and rinse.

beautiful. It is just a matter of recognizing your best features and making them your focus.
It doesn’t matter if your features aren’t those of a fashion model. Real beauty comes from self-confidence and
your own individual personality. Today my goal is to help you bring out your beauty from within by
increasing your self-confidence about your outward appearance.
Mary Kay works with professional make-up artists to develop unique looks that are on-trend and tailored to
bring out your best features. Today you will be trying one of our custom looks that I have selected based on
your skintone, hair & eye color.

Microdermabrasion at Sink:
Are you ready for instant gratification? We have two steps to microdermabrasion. This set goes to
work immediately to fight fine lines, reduce pores, and revitalize your skin so it looks and feels smoother and
softer, like a baby’s bottom.
Start by getting your hands wet and mix this Refine step with water. Then gently massage the right
side of your face for 2 minutes. This is a super exfoliating cream that contains the same aluminum oxide
crystals that dermatologists use. The difference is they charge $100-$150 per session! These crystals polish
and gently remove dull and lifeless skin cells. Basically it gently buffs away the very top layer of the skin
getting rid of acne scars, dead skin/molecules and dry patches.
Now remove by splashing your face with water.
At Mirror:
The 2nd step of microdermabrasion is this pink serum called Replenish. Apply all over the right side of
your face where you just used the Refine. This nourishes and restores your skin with triple tea complex. The
serum immediately absorbs to instantly smooth, soothe and soften skin, preparing it for the next step in your
skin care regimen. Microdermabrasion can be used twice a week. I keep mine in my shower, so I don’t
forget! Don’t forget to use it on your throat, décolleté (dek o’ le tay) and hands.
Intense Moisturizing Cream/Oil Free Hydrating Gel – Sample this on your neck or hands. (use spatula)
Most people think, ‘why would I need that if I'm using moisturizer?’ The moisturizer is temporary, it's like
using a leave-in conditioner. It washes out when you wash your face. It locks the moisture in that's already
there. These special nighttime hydrating lotions, are designed to last longer and never let your skin get
completely dry. . Your skin will feel even more fabulous by adding these products to your nighttime regime!
Also, the experts recommend optimal moisturization and hydradrion for ALL skin types.
Factors like temperature, humidity, age and hormones can upset the proper moisture balance that is necessary

Eyes: The right make-up can add to the beauty of your eyes if you know how to accent the positive and
minimize the negatives
Eye Primer – helps your eye color stay true and stay put. Apply with your ring finger all over your lid from
lashline to brow.
Mineral Eye Colors.

Look at your placemat to decide what eye shape is most like yours. If you are unsure which eye shape you

Eyeliners:
Eyeliner is designed to create a natural extension to your lashes, making your lashes appear longer and thicker.
Our Mechanical Eyeliner Pencils glide on for waterproof, smudge resistant wear, lasting all day. You don’t
have to worry about sharpening them. Just twist for the exact amount you want.
To apply Start on the inside corner of your upper lid and go from lash to lash, keeping it very close to the
lashes. For the lower lashes, use your darkest shade of eyeshadow instead of the pencil and apply from outer
corner to ½ to 2/3 in depending on the shape of your eyes. If you have excess tissue or baggage under your
eyes or have very dark circles, it is best not to apply eyeliner on the bottom as it draws attention to that area.

Mascara:

Brown Mascara has a matte finish so it makes lashes look thicker. Black mascara has a shiny finish, makes
them look longer. Remember do not pump your mascara – this causes air and it dries it out faster. your
mascara should be replaced every 2-3 months.
Concealer:
The 1st step to creating a perfect finish begins with concealing imperfections. With our concealer, less is best.
You’ll find that a little goes a long way. Use your ring finger to lightly tap the concealer and dot it along the
under eye area. For dark circles you will use a concealer shade that most closely matches your foundation.
A darker shade of concealer works better on under eye puffiness. We also offer Yellow for more noticeable
discolorations like dark purple or redness..
Foundations:
For our liquid foundations, apply with a damp sponge, brush or fingers in a downward direction, which helps
facial hairs to lie flat.
Our Mineral Powder Foundation is a weightless powder that blends effortlessly for a natural flawless look.
It’s a skin perfecter that makes lines, wrinkles and other imperfections seem to disappear.
The Mineral Foundation Brush is custom designed to work with the foundation. No other brush you own will
even come close. The soft, natural hair bristles are shaped so you get the right amount of foundation and
coverage.
Translucent Loose Powder – dust lightly starting across forehead, down sides of face, across nose and across
chin.
Mary Kay Mineral Bronzing Powder

hairline and sweep into center of face, coming no further than pupil of eye.
Facial Highlighting Pen:
You can light up your look with this facial highlighting pen. It has special light-reflecting properties to
instantly lift the shadowy areas of your face. Your skin looks brighter, your tone more even, and your face
more radiant! Apply with your ring finger,placing a dot on your temple and a dot under your pupil under the
shadow then connect the dots. This can be applied later in the day to refresh your make-up.
Other places you can highlight: to bring out darkness in the inside corner of the eye, narrow nose apply in a
single stripe down bridge of nose, to decrease shadows in line from nose to corner of lip, above upper lip to
create a fuller lip,
Lips:
1. Line and Define your lips with Mary Kay Lip Liner which comes in a smooth, creamy, waterproof
formula and a retractable pencil that never needs sharpening. It glides on easily with a clean precise
line that perfectly defines lips. Start by defining the V-shape at the center of the top lip along the
natural lip line. Bring the line to the corners of lips using short, feathering strokes. Next define the
lower lip by placing a line along the center of the lower lip. To complete the line, start from the
corners and draw a line in toward the center.
2. Fill in the top and bottom lips with your liner. This will create a matte base and extend the wear of
your lipstick.
