Class of 2014
Each senior is required to sign and return the Commitment and Diploma Information Sheet from the Senior Booklet to
Mrs. Sanford in the Principal’s Office by our extended deadline, TODAY, Friday, January 24, 2014.
If we do not have your sheet by tomorrow, your name will be printed on your diploma just as it is on our database!!!
NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

Attention Brush Seniors
Orders for Graduation Announcements, Cap & Gowns and Medallions will be taken on Thursday, January 30, 2014,
during lunch periods in the Cafeteria. Payment in full or a $60.00 deposit is required with your order for
Announcements and a payment of $32.00 is required for your Cap & Gown and Medallion. Please bring Cash or
Personal Check payable to Herff Jones. See the Announcement display in the Senior Cafeteria Showcase.
Extra order packets are available in the Principal’s Office. (1/30)

NHS Members! An updated hours sheet has been posted on the door to Ms. Fine's office in the Language
Arts Office. It is your responsibility to make sure you have 20 hours for Semester I.(1/24)

All NHS Members attending Saturday's service project should meet in the Welser Parking Lot no later than 6 PM. If
you have questions, see Hannah Imel, Ms. Fine or Ms. Falkenberg. (1/24).

Peer Tutoring will begin again on Monday, February 3rd! Don't forget about this great opportunity to get extra help in

Shout – Out to Mason Nozik, Michael Tadeo, Kevin Roche and Pat Farmer for their band, The Independent, making it
into the finals of the Tri-C High School Rock-Off. The top 15 bands compete February 1 at the House of Blues. Tickets
are $10 and can be purchased from Mason, Michael, Kevin or Pat, or can be purchased on-line or at the door. Come
out and show your support.(1/31)

10th graders who desire to go on the Opportunity Day Field Trip must turn your permission slips in THIS WEEK!
Again, Opportunity Day field trip forms must be turned into the A-Wing Assistant Principals office This week or you
risk not having a space on the bus to Mayfield!(1/24)

PTSA-Fashion Show Attention all Seniors - The Brush PTSA will once again be hosting the Prom Fashion show on
Friday Feb 28th. If you are interested in Modeling Prom Fashions for the show please pick up an application with
information from Mrs. Campana in the Guidance office. Space is limited so be sure to stop by the Guidance office
right away. Applications are due back by Friday January 31 st(1/31)

ATTENTION SLACKERS AND BOOK CLUBBERS! There will be a meeting this Friday after school to go over
future events and distribute the next book we will be reading and discussing, "The Book Thief." If you haven't returned
our last book, "Eleanor and Park," please do so before the end of the week. Hope to see you all there!(1/24)

To All first semester Photo 1 and Ceramic 1 students: Please pick up your graded work in room C112 this week or it

SPORTS

Hockey Come join us for senior night as the hockey team takes on the Twinsburg tigers this Friday at the Cleveland
Heights ice arena. The puck drops at 9pm.(1/24)

Track Attention all students not involved in a current sport at Brush. Track conditioning has begun. Every day in the
c-wing hallways from 3:15 TO 4:30. Now is the time to join the team and prepare for the season. See coach shorts or
coach Swinerton for details.(1/31)

The Brush football team is selling Play-off t-shirts to commemorate the 2013 season. Please consider ordering a shirt
to celebrate the success of this past season and add to your Brush Spirit wear collection. The t-shirts are on display in
the main office at Brush. Order forms are attached to this email and are available in the main office. The deadline to
place an order is Friday, February 7th. Please turn in any orders in to either Coach Wells in room B03 or put order form
in Coach Wells mailbox in the main office.(2/7)

Attention Boys Basketball Fans on February 1st the boys travel to Mayfield. Relay for Life of Hillcrest is asking all
fans and parents to show your support by wearing purple and helping the fight against cancer. (1/31)
