Extra Photography Supplies and Trip Fees
Welcome to grade 11/12 photography. Below is a list of materials, equipment and fees that you will need during the semester.
DIGITAL CAMERAS
Having access to a digital camera is a requirement for the course. Digital photography will be used solely during this course and will comprise all of the assignment work. If you are considering purchasing a camera for the course it is preferable to have a prosumer level camera that provides manual functions.
Students will be given instruction during the early part of the semester on features to look for in a digital camera.
Flash Thumb Drive
Students are encouraged to purchase a flash thumb drive for file storage and transfer purposes.
Thumb drives are available at most electronic stores and range in price from $6.00 to $30.00. A one gigabit flash drive should be enough storage space for course assignments. Please do not purchase drives that have built in .exe programs. If you are not sure ask before purchasing.
TRIP FEES AND EXTRA PHOTOGRAPHY SUPPLIES
The cost of providing extra photographic supplies (high quality color prints and papers) and excursion bus fee for this semester will be $40.00. Please send a cheque payable to St. David or cash.
