Letter from Tom Kraus, Managing Director of the European Theatre House to the founding members Dear founding members of the European Theatre House, dear Theatre Friends! I should like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the confidence given to me in the context of the founding of the European Theatre House. We will do our very best to develop the European Theatre House to an important European theatre institution. In the coming weeks we will do the corresponding steps to create the necessary spatial and human infrastructures in order to complete the tasks agreed in the context of the founding assembly well and quickly – these are: 1. Setting up our own E-Mail-Address 2. Establishment of an internet-presence (including reciprocal linking with the cooperating partners of the EHT) 3. Setting up an E-Mail-distributor 4. Draft joint letter head (ETH and founding organizations) 5. Scheduling a board meeting and general meeting for late October/early November 2013 6. Preparation of cost and financing plan 7. Writing of executive’s rules 8. Writing rules of the artistic advisory board 9. Invitation and suggestions for topics of the artistic advisory board (plus Stephan Schnell and Andreas Poppe) 10. Acquisition of a patron of the EHT 11. Settlement of copyright costs for the title “Europäisches Theaterhaus” respectively “European Theatre House” As you will understand the completion of these tasks will take some time.
