If you are a horse lover you won’t want to miss Robert Hayes Horsemanship Clinic,
Saturday, December 2nd at 9:00 a.m. at the Guthrie, Fairgrounds. Admission is $20 at the
door, children under the age of 16 free accompanied by an adult. It is an opportunity to
watch this amazing man’s life time dedication to horses at work. The horsemanship
clinic will include starting horses and remedial problem solving, and will be dedicated to
helping people better understand and communicate with their horses in a safe and natural
way.
You will find horses of all breeds all disciplines at Robert Hayes’ training facility located
on the land he grew up on in Guthrie, Oklahoma. He is a natural horseman who truly is
dedicated to making safe horses for the horse industry regardless of the discipline. His
methods are unique but have been inspired by legendary horseman such as Ray Hunt and
Tom Dorrance. You name it, Robert has trained it from backyard ponies to imported
warmbloods. There is no discrimination at his farm, only the goal to create safe horses
for people of all ages.
“My goal is to keep improving my ability to connect, approach and interact with horses in
a way that they respect and respond to mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually.
I believe God created horses and the way we approach them should not be self-centered,”
says Robert.
Space is limited for horses and riders wanting to be included in the clinic December 2nd at
Guthrie Fairgrounds. There is plenty of space to attend and watch and learn of a natural
