READING LIST FOR PSYCHIATRY SUGGESTED TEXTBOOKS FOR MEDICAL STUDENTS 2005-2006 The clerkship is planned with the expectation that students will do detailed reading in standard textbooks of psychiatry around issues related to the care of their patients during the clerkship. In addition, appropriate textbook sections should be read prior to the seminars. These textbooks use the DSM-IV diagnostic criteria.
