Joseph Stewart State Park/Lost Lake Trail,
10K/5K. Rated 2B
Paved and natural trails, crosses several small
wooden bridges along Lost Lake then through a
large meadow and along paved pathways
through the state park. A few, short, steep hills,

The Dam Rumley Creek Trail
10km rated 1B
Walk across the dam for fantastic views then
this walk quickly enters the forest along
another part of Lost Lake, meandering through
the trees past a small waterfall. There will be
glimpses of the lake and shore as you walk
along the trail over little bridges. You will have
the opportunity to stroll on the shore with
beautiful views of the lake. This is an out and
back trail. 13 miles from the Edgewater Inn
Del Rio Winery/Cemetery Walk, 5km Rated 1B
Start walk at the Del Rio Winery in the
historical town of Gold Hill, from the winery
you will walk to the pioneer cemetery and as
you walk through the cemetery you will find
many unusual grave sites, some tell a story
about the person buried there. This walk is
subject to change . There will be a walk to
replace it and this one will be an extra walk just
for fun because it is only 5km and can not be
sanctioned as such.
Note: Featured walks of the day will be marked and
checkpoints will be staffed, however, all events may
be walked on any of the 3 days.
You’ll be just 43 miles away from Crater Lake
at the registration hotel in Shady Cove. Plan a
little extra time to visit this Oregon wonder!

From I-5, Exit 30, Crater Lake Highway,18
miles northeast on Crater Lake Highway to
Shady Cove.
Event Center (Hotel) is the Edgewater Inn,
7800, Rogue River Drive, Shady Cove, OR
approximately 2 miles from town line.
Housing at event hotel and other motels, such
as the Maple Leaf, RV parks, and camp
grounds in and near Shady Cove, Prospect, and
Medford, OR

All participants accept the guidelines for AVA
Volkssports events and agree to observe the
principles of good sportsmanship.
These events will take place regardless of the
weather.
All walks are open to everyone. New walkers
and free walkers are always welcome.
