Sedimentation in a Pro-glacial Lake: Lake Linné, Svalbard This past summer I traveled to Svalbard, with Al Werner, to collect modern sediment traps from a pro-glacial lake, Lake Linné. To facilitate my research I need to travel to Woods Hole, MA to run grain size analysis on a Coulter Counter. I need the grain sizes so that I may draw conclusions, in conjunction with other data such as temperature sets, about the sedimentation processes in the lake. I anticipate needing to run samples for two to three days, and considering the drive I will need accommodations for the nights that I will be on the coast. Below is a brief budget: Hotel: Approx. $200 Gas: $50 Food: $75 Thank you for your consideration.
