LUMC Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Rotation Schedule MEDICINE: RRC Needs: 20 months of “direct patient care” ICU (at least 2 months) Emergency Medicine Clinical experience in cardiology and geriatrics Program Needs: Neuro Clinics (combination of ambulatory adult and pediatric Neurology) Other: Nightfloat: no more than 8 weeks in residency. We perform 2 weeks (1 block) as an intern and 6 weeks (3 blocks) as a senior resident. ROCs (Random On-Calls): during service months, you may have a ROC on a Friday night. You will be preferentially assigned to cover your service type (e.g. HOB = Heme service, Onc service, and Bone Marrow Transplant unit). ICU: maximum 8 months total as Med-Peds resident. We typically do 7. 4+1: Med-Peds residents are well-integrated into the Medicine 4+1 system.
