Continuing Education In Internal Medicine All CE must be in the area of internal medicine. Up to 70% of the hours must be in the subspecialty for which you are applying. All CE must be completed within five years of application. CE must be RACE certified or its equivalent. Scanned copies of certificate of attendance or other proof of attendance for these events are required. 20 hours/points of approved CE in your specialty minimum. Applicants are encouraged to submit > 20 hours of CE. 10 hours/points of approved CE in general internal medicine maximum. 15 hours/points of approved journal articles, webinars or in house training maximum.
