Fossil Ridge Boys Swimming and Diving FRHS SWIMMING AND DIVING MISSION STATEMENT Our Mission is to be the best swimming and diving program in Northern Colorado. Our definition of the best program is: Through Athletics: Improvement and contribution of all team members and team success at the city, conference and state level. Through Academics: Team members who earn Academic All-State and Graduating seniors who earn Academic All-American honors. Through Team Unity: A team that’s made up of people who are committed, responsible, supportive, spirited, and display exceptional sportsmanship. By Representing the Fossil Ridge Code: Respect Integrity Determination Gratitude Excellence Making the Team Due to the large interest in participating on the boys swimming and diving team coaches may need to limit the number of student athletes that make the team this season. Team size is limited by the amount of space we have for practices and number of entries that are available for meets. Our goal is to have as many team members as possible while still allowing for enough pool space to appropriately train all team members. The following criteria will be used to determine which student athletes make the 2015 team. Academic eligibility Complete paperwork turned in to the athletic office and blue cards turned into Coach Morehouse by Friday 2/26. Commitment to the sport measured by participation in off-season weight training, preseason camp or participation with a club team Current swimming and / or diving ability Future potential as a swimmer and / or diver The team roster will be finalized on Monday, 2/29. Team members will be informed at the end of practice if they have made the team.
