No: Date of Issue: Issue: Page: DEPARTMENT: Human Resources HRS/J 010 17/01/12 7 1 of 3 JOB DESCRIPTION TITLE: Human Resources Assistant - Recruitment RESPONSIBLE FOR: Recruitment ACCOUNTABLE TO: Human Resources Director Assistant Programme Director JOB DESCRIPTION: 1.0 JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the smooth and efficient processing of all recruitment matters dealt with in the Human Resources Office. 2.0 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 2.1 Initiates PCA’s on the computer for new arrivals. 2.2 Compiles all statistics – weekly, monthly and on demand. Monitors statistics and ensures their correctness. Liaises with PMD Auditor on statistics. 2.3 Forecasts all arrivals one month ahead for the Finance Department. 2.4 Prepares various reports for HR Director as requested. 2.5 Deals with recruitment for Clinical Director/Head of Department, assists and advises them as needed. 2.6 To take an active role in the administration of the HR quality system. 2.7 Assist in the General Orientation of new staff particularly documentation. 2.8 Ensure that Billing Invoices are submitted to the Finance as soon as the employee’s iqama has been issued. 2.9 Responsible in sending CV’s to the respective Clinical Director/Head of Department and monitoring recruitment progress of candidates. 2.10 Responsible in preparing and sending 90 days Individual Performance Review for all new staff. 2.11 Liaises with all the recruitment agencies through phone, fax or e-mail concerning all inprocess candidates. 2.12 Prepares and sends weekly Recruitment Status Report. Diploma in Human Resources or Business or equivalent. Personal Qualities: 4.2.1 Self-motivated, dynamic and enthusiastic with good communication skills. 4.2.2 Must be able to work in an environment of different cultural, educational and religious backgrounds. 4.2.3 Display tact, understanding and tolerance towards such differences. Experience: 4.3.1 Minimum of three (3) years experience in the Human Resources field. 4.3.2 Experience within a health care desirable. 4.3.3 Previous in-Kingdom experience in a distinct advantage.
