PLANNING DECISIONS The Committee noted a list of planning decisions received from Cherwell District Council as per attached schedule. 5. NATIONAL PLANNING POLICY FRAMEWORK The new policy document had been circulated, and it was understood that the implications would not be effective until March 2013 if the district council was unsuccessful in getting a new local plan in place. Committee members would be pleased to attend any training courses that were provided. It was thought that a neighbourhood plan would be advantageous but understood that Cherwell District Council were not supporting such plans until the core strategy document was in place - consultation on which was imminent. The Council objects to this proposal on the grounds that the developer is not providing any affordable housing even though the size of the site (1.3acres) would have been expected to deliver a higher density development that would be over the threshold (15) to allow for affordable housing. The Council also objects that the developer states there should be no provision for a contribution towards local sport & play facilities. 2 04/12/00424/F Mr Phillip Cotterill Single storey side extension 21 Edinburgh Drive, Kidlington, Oxfordshire, OX5 2JF NO OBJECTIONS 05/12/00492/F Mr and Mrs Luc Proposed single storey rear and two storey side extensions, loft conversion and alterations. 152 Oxford Road, Kidlington, Oxford, OX5 1EA The Parish Council objects on the grounds that this application is contrary to Policy C30 of the local plan & is incompatible with the scale of the existing dwelling. 06/12/00461/F Mr N Simpson Ground floor front extension 33 Mead Way, Kidlington, Oxford, OX5 2BJ NO OBJECTIONS 07/12/00533/F Mr Jabid Mohammed Proposed garage and workshop to rear 95 Oxford Road, Kidlington, Oxford, OX5 2NP NO OBJECTIONS 3 08/12/00584/F Mr & Mrs T Hillsdon Removal of existing conservatory; erection of two single storey conservatories 103 High Street, Kidlington, Oxfordshire, OX5 2DS NO OBJECTIONS 09/12/00540/F Mr & Mrs J Pilgrim Replacement of existing summerhouse 65 Church Street, Kidlington, Oxfordshire, OX5 2BA NO OBJECTIONS 4 Cherwell District Council Planning Decisions 17th MAY 2012 01/12/00173/F Mr Barry Fenemore Replace single storey flat roof at the rear of the property with tiled pitched roof 155 The Moors, Kidlington, Oxford, OX5 2AE PERMITTED 02/12/00276/F Mr Lloyd Townsend Construction of front porch and bay window 19 Park Avenue, Kidlington, Oxfordshire, OX5 2AS PERMITTED 03/12/00218/LB Dr James Hamilton To use double glazed glass in window panes or dormer windows, for which listing building consent has recently been given (10/01761/LB) 78 Church Street, Kidlington, Oxford, OX5 2BB PERMITTED 04/12/00065/TCA Dr David Phipps T1 T2 x Leylandia Cypress - Fell 14 School Road, Kidlington, Oxford PERMITTED 05/11/01644/F Mr Farhad Asadi Retrospective – new storage building 33 Edinburgh Drive, Kidlington, Oxfordshire, OX5 2JG PERMITTED 5
