PRODUCT INFORMATION SHEET
PRODUCT:
GUARDIAN GRAFFITI GEL
Product Code: GGGPI
Issue Date: JANUARY 2015
Description
An environmentally safe biodegradable, non-caustic heavy duty cleaner for the removal of sun hardened and multi layered
graffiti. Guardian Gel will remove most spray enamels, acrylics, permanent markers, crayons and lipstick off unpainted
brick, concrete, natural stone and metal surfaces.
NB It is difficult to remove all of the graffiti from “porous surfaces”.
Application
STEP 1 Ensure the surface to be cleaned and cleaning utensils are completely dry prior to application of gel.
STEP 2 Apply gel to graffiti by brush and work into graffiti using a stiff bristle brush in a circular motion. Leave gel to work
for 5 minutes on fresh graffiti and 10-15 minutes on aged graffiti on porous surfaces.
STEP 3 Apply a second application of gel and scrub with a stiff brush. Wash clean with water and a stiff brush or high
pressure clean.
STEP 4 Stubborn stains or old graffiti may require multiple applications. Wipe the surface dry between applications.
* If ghosting occurs ensure that the surface is dry and repeat steps 2-3
* On smooth surfaces wash graffiti off with water and a clean cloth.
* On rough surfaces, wash graffiti off with water and a natural bristle brush or high pressure clean.
If this procedure is unsuccessful, the only alternative is to coat the substrate with Guardian Anti Graffiti Coating, tinted
to the colour of your choice.
