B. What advice do we have for them?
1. Importance of cohesion within the group

C. What would we advise that they do differently?
1. Don’t interrupt people, don’t be repetitive
2. Keep the big picture in mind – get students out and enjoying themselves
3. Articulate objectives well to Board of Trustees by keeping the big picture in mind
– cabinet retreats to keep us on track or switch our goals if that’s what’s necessary
4. Emphasize collective voice regarding Board of Trustees
5. Having class presidents meet – emphasize support system that exists
6. Remember to have fun
7. Don’t be afraid to ask for help
8. Know who your resources are and connect with them
9. Thank-you cards are very nice

3. Senior Ball – tickets going on sale next Wednesday; shopping for decorations on

movie on Chapin Lawn, Smith tour to do everything you haven’t done yet at

1. Party policy is done: house parties – crowd control, large parties can happen, new
standing committee on social life
2. Hope to have a board consisting of Rec Council, CCAB, someone from HPA,
students-at-large
3. Senate: a bit of a change with the constitution
4. Mascot change committee
M. Molly
1. Rae-Anne came to facilitate discussion on ResLife/HP relationship and how to
improve it
2. What they want from an advisor who may or may not be assistant director of
ResLife
3. Hopefully have a wellness coordinator as co-advisor or some advisor for HPA
next year
4. Turnover meeting in 17th
5. Dinner on 1 May
N. Ayesha
1. Smith ’08 Nalgene bottles – but open to all years
2. Ballot for commencement speakers – will be out during exam week
3. Hot tubs

1. President Christ is very excited about it
2. Jennifer Walters has agreed to be the third guest – will try to incorporate different
religious perspectives
B. Presidential Updates = Tuesday @ 7pm
1. Things to keep pushing for (not fall off the deep end), and things you can do
differently?
2. Send ideas to include in the letter to Meg and Adrienne
C. Election publicity
1. Make people aware of the constitutional changes
2. Perhaps reserve space around Chapin Lawn – hang up blow-ups of changes on the
chains
3. Send Ali sections of your committee’s articles that they want to have blown up
