Dear Sir/Madam, Cairo International Model Arab League (CIMAL) is the largest student activity in the American University in Cairo (AUC). Throughout the last nineteen years CIMAL has grown to be the biggest conference on AUC campus and the largest simulation of the Arab League worldwide. The reputation of our program is a result of two pillars of CIMAL, namely a distinguished academic level of political knowledge particularly in Middle East affairs; and an experienced organization. The thorough political knowledge that delegates gain by joining CIMAL is a result of three months of hard work and research about Middle East affairs under the guidelines of the secretariat of the councils. For foreign students who are interested in the Middle East, CIMAL represents an opportunity to get a first-hand experience with the region's politics, culture and society. The other pillar of CIMAL is the long experience of organization, which provides a comfortable stay, an entertaining program and educational encounters with the Egyptian and oriental culture for our foreign delegates. We would be honored to have your university participating in this year's conference in November 2009, which happens to be the twentieth conference. There are eight councils this year, four English speaking, one French speaking and three Arabic speaking councils. The conference will be held from the 18th till the 21st of November and the organizing team will arrange the visit program for the foreign delegates. If interested please email us back to provide you with further information on participation. We hope to have you with us in Cairo in November 2009 Best Regards, Nazly El Kholy Organizing Committee Head Mariam El Gammal Head of External Public Relations The American University in Cairo Political Science Department Model Arab League Program
