MILITARY REGISTRY
OTSEGO, MICHIGAN AREA
The Otsego Area Historical Society welcomes you to record the participation, during war
or peacetime, for any local resident (living or deceased) who served in any branch of
military service, or any foreign country’s armed forces.
The Otsego Area Historical Society will assemble and provide a database of registrations,
which will appear on the OAHS internet web site, and in periodic updated lists made
available at the museum.
Registration is free, and may be completed by anyone providing proof of military service
for a participant living or deceased. Such proof of service must accompany the
registration and may consist of a newspaper item, obituary, service papers, pension
papers, photo of tombstone with military reference, cemetery records, unit histories &
rosters, military organization records, or any other printed documentation describing
service.
Registration forms should be filled out as completely and accurately as possible.
