RESOLUTION – AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 321-20130904 AUTHORIZING CHAIR OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE AGREEMENT
WITH ENGINEERS FOR CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION OF BRIDGE BIN
3353930, COUNTY ROUTE 11C OVER SUSQUEHANNA RIVER,
TOWNS OF HARTWICK/MIDDLEFIELD, OTSEGO COUNTY
MCCARTY, FRAZIER
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 321-20130904 authorized the Chair of the Board to
enter into an agreement with Shumaker Consulting Engineering and Land
Surveying, P.C., for the construction inspection of bridge BIN 3353930, located on
County
Route
11C
over
the
Susquehanna
River,
in
the
Towns
of
Hartwick/Middlefield, Otsego County, New York, at a cost not to exceed $47,500;
and
WHEREAS, there is a need to amend Resolution No. 321-2013 for an additional
cost not to exceed $20,000; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Chair of the Board be and hereby is authorized to amend
an agreement with Shumaker Consulting Engineering and Land Surveying, P.C., 143
Court Street, Binghamton, New York 13901, for the construction inspection of bridge
BIN 3353930, located on County Route 11C over the Susquehanna River, in the
Towns of Hartwick/Middlefield, Otsego County, New York, for an additional cost not
to exceed $20,000 for construction inspection; and be it further
RESOLVED, that said agreement shall contain such other terms and
conditions as are in the best interest of the County of Otsego; and be it further

RESOLVED, that the funds for this project are available in the 2013-2014
Highway Budget under D5112.2020, D5113.2121 and D5113.2104.
