VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: At Praise Him with Parables (Jesus Makes a Difference in Boiling Springs), kids explore the mighty love of God on a journey that will change them forever! Praise Him with Parables is filled with incredible Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, touch and even taste! Bible Point crafts, team-building games, cool Bible songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the Praise Him with Parables activities that help faith flow into real life. (Since everything is hands-on, kids might get a little messy. Be sure to send them in play clothes and safe shoes.) So mark these dates on your calendar: July 13 - 17. This event is open to all students that will be in 8th through 11th grades this coming school year. If interested, the deposit of $150 is due by Oct. 1. For past ELCA gatherings, the church and the youth “raised” donations keeping additional costs at a minimum. VBS Lutheran World Relief Collection: We will be collecting school items (see below) during VBS. These items will be sent to Lutheran World Relief. We encourage the congregation to assist with our collections. All donated items can be placed in the blue tote outside of the youth minister’s office.
