BARDSTOWN CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP.

~ VBS is July 20 -July 23, 5:30-8pm for children
recently finishing K- 5th grades. “Take It In, Live
It Out!” Take in the stories Jesus told; then live
them out in homes, schools, churches. A light
dinner will be served. Register online at

~ Summer Soccer Camp July 20 -July 23rd,
8am-12pm held at Dean Watts Park for children
K-5th grade. Coaches will be Children’s Pastor
Kevin Litton and former Associate Pastor Daniel

~ Scotland Mission Trip team of 12 will be
leading a soccer camp and VBS in the city of
Ayr from July 4 – July 13.
~ 5 Year Anniversary Celebration is Sunday,
July 26 starting at 10am at Bardstown
Community Park. Special open air worship
celebration, home coming and family picnic.

~ Exciting news! Youth leaders Gayle Brothers
and Andrea Carrico took ten youth to camp.
While there, eight of the youth accepted Christ!
The other two youth were already Christians.

July 30, 7 pm. Choirs of FBC and Parkway will
sing back-up. Ticket sale proceeds will benefit
the Bluegrass Christian Academy. Tickets are
$10 at PBC or FBC Mt. Washington. On-line

~ Have had 12 baptisms, 17 salvations, and 14
new members in the second quarter of 2009
~ Joshua Men cookout is Fri. July 10, 6:30pm.
This newly formed ministry is a group of men
who pray for the church, community, and each
other. You may see them in our community
helping out wherever needed.
~ New Women's Bible Study every Mon.
beginning July 6 at 6:30pm, "Moral Earthquakes
and Secret Faults" written by O.S. Hawkins.
Each Monday night following Bible Study will be
"Crafts for Christ".
~ “Back to School Party” is Sat., July 25.
School supplies will be distributed.

~ Missions will benefit from the WMU yard sale
held on the church lawn.
~ WMU had a “Mug” Run by going to homes of
five members’, praying at each, putting food in
their mugs, and proceeding to the next home.
~ Five WMU ladies attended the prayer retreat
June 1st at Cedar Grove BC.
~ Annie Armstrong Easter Offering Goal was
$500, but the final total was $930!
~ 9 youth and 2 counselors Youth camp, June
22-26, had attending.
~ Youth visited Louisville Zoo in June.
~ Youth cleared limbs from the church lawn

~ CIA are learning about the Hawaiian Islands
and the Baptist churches there.
~ Have completed Wed. night study of “Spiritual
Warfare; Biblical Truth for Victory”.
Plans are to start another study on God.
~ Homecoming is Sept. 20, 2009.
