LLOYD, Michael Lawrence
January 24, 1980 – May 14, 2014
With great sadness, we announce the passing of Michael Lawrence Lloyd.
Michael is survived by his wife, Mandy; his children: Arianna and Kaden; his brother, David
(Lisa-Marie Szyron-Lloyd); his mother, Edie Lloyd (Gerald Samuel); his step-brothers: Brian
Samuel (Tarah) and Mark Samuel (Bronwen); his nieces and nephews; and the uncountable
people he loved and who loved him, his friends and family. He will be truly missed by his
faithful feline companion, Mikey, and his soul-siblings, Scott and Rory Foster and Suzy Saipe.
He was predeceased by his father, Donald Lloyd.
Michael was born and spent most of his years in St. Albert. He was widely cherished for his big
heart. For Michael, loved ones came first, and he had many, many loved ones. He will be
remembered for his smile, his laugh, and the sparkle in his eyes. His generosity was matched
only by his sensitivity. The world is a lesser place without him.
A Celebration of Michael’s Life will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at
North Pointe Community Church, 14025-167 Avenue, Edmonton.
Michael’s family thanks the staff and physicians at Sturgeon Community Hospital for all that
they did during Michael’s moment of need.
