- Mrs. Renate Schibler (Switzerland)
- Mr. Murillo Kammer (Brasil)
- Mr. Gianmarco Aragno (Italy)
- Mr. Holger Ismer (Germany)
- Mrs. Marianne Tengstedt (Denmark)
Method of judging
In hand classes
Type, head, neck and shoulder, body and top-line, legs and movement will each
be awarded points from 1-20 by each of the judges. Half points will be given.
Type will be multiplied by 2.
Rules for ties
In the event of a tie, the higher place will be given to the horse with the most
points for type. If there is still a tie the higher place will be given to the horse
with the most points for movements. Failing a decision on either of these, the
judges will be required to state their opinion.
Championships
The first three horses in each class qualify automatic for the appropriate
championship + the fourth with the highest score from all classes.
In case of 4 classes (Senior classes) the first two will qualify + the two horses
with the highest scores from the third place.
The champion (Gold) will be selected from all horses in the championship. When
the champion has been selected the reserve (Silver) and Bronze will be selected
in the same way.
If a horse is unable to compete in the championships the horse with the highest
points that wasn’t already qualified for the championships may compete. The
female and male with the highest scores will receive an award. There will be also
given a trophy to the best horse in the show, chosen out the 4 champions. This
horse will be awarded BEST STRAIGHT EGYPTIAN HORSE of 2009. Also new is
the BREEDERS TROPHY awarded to the breeder who entered at least 2 horses
with the highest scores.
Championships of the non-professional handlers cup: the first of the class will
automatically be champion and the second of the class will automatically be
reserve champion.
The BEST in Show will be chosen from the four champions.
3
In hand classes
Only one handler per horse is permitted in the ring. Assistant is allowed in the
ring.
The horses must be shown with normally accepted bridles or head collars which
are of sufficient strength to ensure the horse does not get loose in the ring.
Colts and stallions aged 3 years and over must wear a bit. The penalty for
owners of the horses which get loose in the ring will be an immediate fine of
€100 for each offence and the horse will be shown last in his class.
Prizes and rosettes
All horses competing will receive a rosette and a memorial. The first placed
horses receive a trophy. All champions and reserve champions receive a trophy.
