Instructor of Record, University of Wisconsin-Madison: Instruct three sections of
Art 108 and three sections of Art 208: Foundation of Contemporary Art discussion.
Position includes group discussion facilitation, lesson planning, syllabus design, critique
facilitation, grade evaluation, presentations and assisting with instruction on modern
and contemporary art practices, and encouragement of application of ideas toward
studio art making practices
2005
Participant, Company Man Group Exhibition. J.P. Morgan Chase Bank Tower. Artists
selected by Mike Brenner, Curator (Director of Hotcakes Gallery, Milwaukee). Artists
invited from all over the country to participate in show exploring issues of the
contemporary workplace. MARN (Milwaukee Artists Resource Network), a non-profit
arts organization hosted and sponsored the event which opened in conjunction with
Milwaukee Gallery Night. Press release and published photos seen at:

Member, WAMGE. Wisconsin Area Mini Golf Enthusiasts: Member of a
collaborative group that created a non-traditional mini-golf course as a sculptural
public art piece. Exhibited in Spring, 2005 in alternative business space, and in Fall,
2005, as an outdoor interactive artwork as part of Arts Night Out, UW –Madison
Campus Arts Festival funded by the UW-Madison Arts Institute
(www.arts.wisc.edu/ano).
2004-05
Instructor of Record, University of Wisconsin-Madison: Taught four sections of
Art 102, 2-D Design: Designed and instructed foundation level two-dimensional
design studio curriculum, two semesters concurrently. Position included conducting
technical demonstrations including Photoshop, bookmaking techniques, and mounting
and matting techniques, critique facilitation, grade evaluation, development and
implementation of projects, syllabus design, rubric and lesson planning.
Installer/Preparator, Chazen Museum, (Formerly the Elvehjem Museum),
helped install elaborate sculptural installations for artists Xu Bing and Peter Gourfain.
Worked personally and extensively with artist Xu Bing to create site-specific sculptural
installation for Page Court at the Elvehjem Museum. Images of installation can be
viewed at http://chazen.wisc.edu/home.html. Also worked extensively with Peter
Gourfain to re-install large sculptural exhibit, images viewed on same site. Position also
included installation and de-installation of traditionally hung painting and sculpture,
preservation, maintenance, labeling and inventory of permanent and visiting
collections.

program. Hosted Madison area high school students interested in the visual arts.

Member, Waterfront Artists Collective, Bellingham WA: personal studio space within
artist community, publicized and participated in quarterly Gallery Walks with
collective of approximately 30 artists.
Teaching Assistant, assisted the instruction of a foundation drawing course at
Western Washington University. Provided input in critique, taught three life-drawing
sessions and guided skill application with the goal of facilitating class expression and
comprehension of material learned throughout course.
Workshop Instructor at B Gallery Art-a-thon. A 24-hour Art-making, Exhibiting,
and Auctioning Group Show to benefit the B-Gallery, Bellingham, WA. Participated
and led workshop and demonstrations of Paper Making throughout the 24-hour art-athon

Volunteer, for community organization Expanding Your Horizons, Bellingham, WA.
Program inviting junior high school girls from the community to experiment in areas
of the sciences. Assisted photography workshops, conducted slide presentations and
artist lectures.
