A Safe Church Awareness Workshop will be held at Beldon-Iluka Uniting
Church, 9 Pacific Way on Sunday 25 October, 12 noon - 5.00pm. All
members of congregations, especially those involved in Community Services
are urged to attend. Additional workshops will be held in other metropolitan
regions in response to requests from congregations or planned by the Synod.

Uniting Church Syrian Refugee Appeal will assist in providing welcome and
settlement support here in Australia. Stuart McMillan, president of the
Uniting Church in Australia, is encouraging Uniting Church members to give

St Andrew’s Uniting Church, the founding Presbyterian church in Perth,
together with adjoining buildings has been sold and will close on Friday 30
October.
Preaching Workshops with Rev Dr Ian Tozer will be held on Saturday 10
October from 10.00am-4.00pm at Victoria Park and Districts Star Street
Uniting Church, 43-45 Star Street, Carlisle; and Saturday 21 November from
10.00am-4.00pm at All Saints Floreat Uniting Church, 50 Berkeley Crescent.
