Congregations Uniting Church in the City’s (UCIC) Wesley Recital Series continues this Friday 21 August with well-known Perth organist Graham Devenish performing Sonatas 3 and 4 by A Guilmant. The performance starts at 1.00pm at UCIC Wesley Perth. Eighteen months in Afghanistan: The experience of two aid workers. Vince and Sarah Mateljan have spent 18 months in Afghanistan, working with TEAR Australia partners to improve the lives of people there. Afghanistan is one of the most difficult places to do humanitarian aid work and their story is compelling. They will be speaking at South Perth Uniting Church on Friday 28 August, 7.30 pm.
