Placement Programme Summary:



Week of Work (WoW) – An unpaid week of graduate-level work experience. The University
supports undergraduates by refunding reasonable expenses incurred.
Swansea Paid Internship Network (SPIN) – Undergraduates work 4-weeks at graduate- level.
They are paid by the employer at minimum wage (for a 21 year-old, gross). The University
contributes half of the student’s salary.
Santander programmes –
o Santander SME Internship Programme - Graduates work for 3 months within an SME at
graduate-level. They are paid £1,000 (minimum), per month, by the SME. Santander
contributes £1,500 towards the graduates’ salary.
o Santander Work Placement Programme – Undergraduates work for a month within an
SME at graduate-level. They are paid £1,000 (minimum) by the SME. Santander
contributes £1,000 towards the undergraduate’s salary.
