AGREED- That the mobile telecommunications contract be awarded to
Telefonica for an estimated value of £45,925.47 over 2 years.
Reasons for decision
This will enable the ICT service to provide best value, ongoing mobile
voice/data communications, and to enhance mobile/agile working, remote
accessibility and better functionality for the Mayor, Members and Council
officers. This will also reduce the printing overheads for Democratic Services.
Alternative options considered and rejected
That the existing mobile telecommunications agreement remains and no
iPads or iPhones are purchased.
