After more than 60 years in business, The Costume Shop of Keyport, New Jersey has closed their doors forever and the owners are
selling their inventory. The Costume Shop operated a costume rental business that provided rental costumes to Broadway Plays in
New York, regional college and other theatrical productions of plays and operas, and costumes for Mardi Gras, Photographers and
Renaissance Festivals in New Jersey and New York area. The inventory includes many vintage costumes and accessories (that were
for rent) as well as contemporary boxed costumes (that were for sale).
Contemporary costumes and accessory makers include, but not limited to Rubies, Disguise, Pony Express, Leg Avenue, Rasta Impact,
La Mendola, Cinema Secrets, Collegeville, Alexander’s, and others. MSRP for boxed costumes ranges from $ 22.95 to $ 156.95 and
$ 4.95 to $ 27.95 for accessories. Many of the vintage costume makers are out of business and the rental for these costumes ranged
from $ 50 to $200.

BOXED COSTUMES AND ACCESSORIES: Men’s, women’s and kids costumes, including but not limited to, Super Girl, Bat Girl,
, Wolverine, Pirates, Characters from Wizard of OZ, Vampires, Dracula, Zombies, Frankenstein, Skeletons, Cartoon Characters,
Devils, Grim Reaper, Angels, Rock Star, Lounge Lizard, Flower Child, Pirates, Pirate Queens, Lady Gaga, Hello Kitty and many
others. Sizes vary and there is more than one costume of each type. There are many more, too numerous to mention, still unpacking.
Directions: From Baltimore and points north, take I-695 to I-95 south. Take the exit for Md. Route 32, east toward Laurel and then
exit to Route 1, south. At the second traffic light, make a right on Gorman Road, then turn right on to Foundry Street. Historic
Savage Mill is on the left. Make the first left turn after crossing the bridge over the Patuxent River. From Washington and points
south, take I-495 to I-95 north. Take the exit for Md. Route 32, east toward Laurel and then exit to Route 1, south. At the second
traffic light, make a right on Gorman Road, then turn right on to Foundry Street. Historic Savage Mill is on the left. Make the first
left turn after crossing the bridge over the Patuxent River. Caplan’s Auction Company is located at 8600 Foundry St, Savage, MD

Terms of Sale: All costumes and accessories are sold As Is, Where Is, with No Warranties Expressed or Implied. All sales are final,
no returns or exchanges. We accept cash, checks (at the discretion of the auctioneers), Master Card, Visa, Discover and American
Express. A 15 % Buyer’s Premium will be added to all purchases and Maryland Sales Tax at 6 % applies to all purchases without a
Retail Tax Certificate Exemption. No items may be removed until the buyer’s bill is satisfied.
