TRAVERSE CITY WINE & ART FESTIVAL
Artcenter Traverse City invites you to apply to the fourth annual WINE & ART FESTIVAL, to be held at the Village at Grand
Traverse Commons, in Traverse City, Michigan. Participation is open to all artists who exhibit work of original concept, design and
execution. Last year, the festival was a huge success with raving reviews!
DATE: Saturday, June 30, 2012, 3 p.m. – 10 p.m.
MEDIA: Painting, drawing, collage, graphics, leather, sculpture, jewelry, fiber, wood, metal, glass, photography, pottery and mixed
media will be considered.
SET UP: A limited number of 10’ x 10’ booth spaces are available for the festival. There may be a few places available for
demonstrating artists throughout the festival grounds, weather permitting (call for details). Specific set up information will be sent
after jurying.
PROMOTION: There will be regional and national promotion of the event. Some participating artists will have the opportunity
to be featured nationally.
RULES: Work using commercial clothing, molds, patterns, plans, stencils, or forms, is not allowed. No more than 50%
Giclees/artist pulled prints should be displayed. No agents: The artist must be present at the show. Booth must remain for entire
show with no early take down. The committee has the right to exclude any exhibitor not abiding by the rules or any items not
consistent with juried images. Only work juried into the show will be allowed to be exhibited. All participants must be respectful of
fellow artists and patrons; nothing offensive to any sense will be permitted. Exhibitors agree that participation is at their own risk.
Rules will be strictly enforced to ensure a high quality show.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: Each applicant must submit four digital images (Jpeg format, PC-compatible, high-resolution, 1920
pixels on the longest side, no larger than 2.0 MB per image): three of current work, and one of a fully stocked display. NO slides or
photos, please. Applications without digital images cannot be accepted. Applicants must also include a short bio and artist
statement.
PROCESSING AND BOOTH FEES: Please send 2 checks with your application: the non-refundable $5 processing fee and the
$90 booth fee, both payable to Artcenter TC. The processing fee is non-refundable and will be deposited upon receipt. The booth
fee will be deposited upon acceptance, after which time it may not be refunded. If paying by credit card, please call with card
number, expiration date, and security code.

DEADLINE: All applications must be received by March 15, 2012. Notification by April 2, 2012.
