ACTION: BUSINESS ACADEMY grant request: Approx $15,000 to
help travel to NY for Nationals. Offset from amount of grant that we
already agreed to fund but have not yet paid which District will cover due
to District’s inability to pay for costs for student travel out of state per
Education Code.
o Approval of minutes from October 22, 2014 and January 28, 2015
o Treasurer’s Report: JOE WOLF- See also report attached to annual report
o ACTION: vote on purchase of Quickbooks online Essentials package for
$15.99 per month –see details http://quickbooks.intuit.com/pricing/
o Committee Report
o Arts Council: ACTION: Approve amendment to the bylaws and
Establishment of Mesa VAPA Council as arm of Foundation to focus
solely on support for the ACE Academy with 5 board members. Only
Chairman and 1 other will be voting board members to the Foundation
also.

The following board members will be retiring after several years of wonderful
service: Frank Albers, Debra Wanbaugh (contining to help with
Community Run), Candace Rice (continuing to help with Alumni outreach &
Home Tour), Darlene Stinson (staying on Home Tour Committee). These are
the current nominees. Some are pending confirmation by Monday. If you have
a nominee that I can talk with on Monday, please forward asap.
