(SBC) is presenting its new 4.3-inch Room Web Panel MB with capacitive
touchscreen at ISH 2015. This small room panel is ideal for use in flexible, highquality facilities. The S-Web technology from SBC forms the basis for the new
panel’s display, allowing fast, efficient and flexible application design to satisfy
individual user needs.
The 4.3" Room Web Panel MB was developed specially for use in flexible, high-quality
facilities such as hotel suites, conference rooms or hospitals; this new room panel from
SBC can be used as a display and control unit in connection with Saia PCD automation
systems. All systems in a room, such as heating and ventilation, can be operated with
the new 4.3" panel, which can be customised for specific uses. Various scenarios can
be programmed for the needs of a conference room, such as “lights off, blinds down,
beamer on”. This is only one of many different possibilities for a conference with
presentations.
Flexible S-Web technology
Saia PCD combines SPS functionality with innovative and industrial-quality Web and IT
technology, so the new 4.3" panel is also highly flexible and can be customised to meet
individual user requirements. The panel can be flexibly programmed thanks to its SWeb technology, but the supplied templates can also be used and configured to meet
specific needs.
The room panel is specially designed for the needs of Web display and can be
programmed for all possible applications with software tools. Given the appropriate
access rights, any browser can access the automation devices on any known web
server in a network. The room panel can be directly connected with a Saia PCD
controller, or the application can be stored locally in the panel; multiple rooms can be
linked together so that, for example, one room can be accessed from another and its
scenarios modified. Various access restrictions are available to prevent operating errors
or misuse.

Uncomplicated operation
The new room panel’s user interface is always clearly displayed and provides plenty of
room for creativity. Every control screen can be designed with complete flexibility using
standard objects or available function templates for configuration. Its 4.3" TFT display
makes it even easier and more convenient to use, and its capacitive touch technology
ensures especially quick and sensitive responses.
The compact room panel is intended for uncomplicated and easily accessible
installation in standard twin flush-mounted boxes.
