Graduation 2013
All students wear dark shoes. No tennis shoes, No hunting boots. No flip flops.
Boys wear dark dress slacks, a collared white shirt, and a tie. Girls are reminded to wear
the white collar supplied with your cap and gown. Cords will be distributed for NHS
members.
If you are a member of the National Honor Society, you are responsible for getting your
cord from Mrs. Bodine for graduation. After the ceremony, return the cords to Mrs.
Bodine.
Be in the Home Ec. Dept. at 6:15 graduation night.
Do not have boyfriends, girlfriends, friends, or family members with you in the Home Ec.
Dept. Space is very limited.
School rules apply: No facial piercings allowed for boys/girls. No earrings for boys.
Please use appropriate behavior during the ceremony. Your behavior is a reflection of
you and your parents.
Seating will be in alphabetical order.
After ceremony, find Mrs. Alldredge or Mrs. Smith to pick up diplomas.

Jeff Patrick, representative for Herff Jones will be here @ 10:30, Tuesday, Oct. 30,
2012 to discuss graduation supplies (invitations, memory books, shirts, etc) Average
cost: $150. *Supplies are optional.

Jeff Patrick returns to take orders and money for graduation supplies @ 10:30,
Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012. Deposit paid is $100 if order exceeds $100. If order is less
than $100, the full amount must be paid.

MANADATORY: ALL STUDENTS MUST PAY $60 GRADUATION FEE. This
cost covers the cap & gown, diploma & diploma cover, and one tassel. Checks should be
made to SMHS. Fee may be paid by installments (weekly, monthly) if necessary;
however, Entire amount is due NO LATER than Feb. 1, 2013.

Prom: April 6, 2013, Twin Oaks @ Heritage, Oneonta, AL 7:30PM Ticket Price:
$60
$30 Prom Deposit must be paid by Dec. 7, 2012 for ticket to be guaranteed. Final
Balance will be due around the first week in March, 2013.


Additional senior shirts will be ordered at a later date. These shirts are usually a shirt
designed by the seniors.
