 *Internship Liaison (3) – The PEOPLE Program is seeking graduate students to serve as the lead of
clusters of rising high school seniors who will be participating in internships in the following
disciplines:
 L&S
 Science
 Business/Law
Internship Liaisons will assist in the planning and implementation of the PEOPLE Summer
Residential Program. Intern Leads are assigned a cluster of rising senior high students who will
participate in an academic class and a practical internship placement in a potential college major or
career option of the student’s choice. Internship Leads are responsible for: monitoring student
participation, internship site job coaching, mentoring, coordination of meetings, problem solving,
intervention, arrangements, and the driving of students to and/or from internship sites as
necessary. Other duties/responsibilities as assigned. The work schedule includes morning and
afternoon hours, some evenings and weekends.
Employment Dates: January 10th – August 8thth, 2014.
*Spring Appointment: 33.33% (13 hours/week) Dates: Jan. 10th – May 31st, 2014
*Summer Appointment: 100% (40 hours/week) Dates: June 1st – Aug. 8th 2014.
