FURNITURE INSTALLER
Full-time, regular position with competitive pay and benefits
JOB SUMMARY
This position works in the Kent warehouse and on the jobsites around the Pacific Northwest. Duties include
loading, delivery and installation of orders according to specific requirements. Additional responsibilities include
filling out paperwork and making minor field repairs. This position represents the Company to the customer,
may oversee a crew and may occasionally be required to travel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Pick up and will call products
Verify quantity of items with freight bill or will call paperwork
Verify quantity, color and model number with installation notes & purchase Order/Receiving List
Loading and packing truck
Make contact with customer
Verify placement, order details, access and time constraints
Install all components of order including furniture, office systems, shelves, file bars and locks, etc.
Inspect everything for damage or defects and report immediately
Operation and maintenance of Company vehicles
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma, GED or equivalent
Experience: at least 2 years working in a warehouse, delivery or related field
Valid WA State Driver License
Reliable transportation
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Good spatial reasoning and problems solving skills
Must have basic tool set and be familiar with using hand and power tools
Able to read and interpret blueprints
Represent SBI in a professional, able, helpful, and courteous manner
Team player
Dependable and on-time
Ability to lift 70+ pounds
Good communication skills
Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without accommodation

Office equipment, personal vehicle, hand and hand-held power tools, Company non-DOT vehicles, forklift

Mental Effort: Must be able to work independently and as a member of a team. Work is primarily physical in
nature but includes interaction with clients, vendors, and other outside entities, sometimes under stressful
conditions.
Physical Requirements: Work is split between warehouse and on-site environments requiring ability to see and
hear and communicate as well as travel involving operation of personal or Company motor vehicles. May
require occasionally lifting up to 70 lbs.
Working Conditions: Work is performed in a variety of settings, occasionally outside. Noise level may be
moderate or loud at worksite.
