Fungi, protists, bacteria or viruses can cause infectious diseases in humans, other animals or even plants in some cases. It is your task to find out what causes the disease and other information pertaining to the topic. You will present your information to the class. A list of suggested topics is given below (there should be no repeats). Your options are not limited to these choices, but must be cleared with the teacher.

• Signs/symptoms/diagnosis & what part of the organism’s body does it affect?
• Where is the disease most common and why?

• Your group may choose to make a Prezi, notebook or Power point presentation to
communicate what you have learned.
• Please make sure you save your presentation on a flashdrive if doing a Power Point
• Your group will have two periods to put it all together and present the next day
