12 th December sees local choir Witchford Voices perform at the historic Ely Cathedral with early ticket sales indicating it’s likely to be a sell out.
The 70+ strong choir has a wide and eclectic repertoire, including songs from popular artists such as Snow
Patrol and tracks from the popular television hit Glee, to 17 th century classics and everything in between.
Their recent album People Like You was a bit hit in the summer, selling fast to concert audiences and fans of the choir alike.
“We couldn’t be more excited about the opportunity to sing in such an iconic building,” said choir member
Vicky Berry. “We are already working hard to be our very best for the concert and are thrilled that so many people want to come and see us sing.”
The choir is also performing at St Andrew’s Church, Witchford on 4 th December and in Waterbeach on 9 th
December.
