Parent Classroom Visits – February 24th and 25th First-come first-serve sign up basis! From Your Student Enrollment and Retention Committee Did you know that a large number of our elementary students come to us after having attended a traditional school? This is the time of year when parents already here, or currently in other schools, consider different school options. Please consider your Montessori Co-op School! Your school is already, all together different! We know you have a choice for your child’s education and we are so grateful you have chosen our all together different school, Montessori Co-Op School for your junior or toddler. A number of you plan to keep your child enrolled with us through the elementary years. Yet we also realize a number of parents plan to enroll their child in traditional schools whether public or parochial for grades Kindergarten and above. We invite all parents of our junior and toddler parents to visit our elementary classes to see what our elementary program has to offer. If you find your child is already thriving in the Montessori environment here, please spend just 40 minutes in our elementary rooms to see how our elementary students continue to thrive here at Montessori Co-op School. Your child is already known and loved by our teachers and staff and so are you, their parents. Did you know that a large number of our elementary students come to us after having attended a traditional school? Their parents wanted to go in a different direction after experiencing what most of us know as a traditional school. The Student Enrollment and Retention (SER) Committee has been contacting the prospective families that tour our school after they tour and meet with Miss Emily. Many of these prospective families are for our junior and toddler program and many are also for our elementary program. We find that a number of families already have their children in what might be considered regular private and public schools like you and I attended growing up. Once they come and visit our elementary classrooms they really get excited about the differences and enroll here at Montessori Co-op School because we are all together different. Our elementary students have structured work plans that give them the flexibility to be custom tailored to each child’s needs and learnings styles. There is no single one pace or time in which our elementary students master their academics. Our students master these skills in a way that suits them, specifically. We would not want you to leave our school for the elementary years and later wonder if you should have stayed or missed out on something wonderful. We want your family to stay with us through these important years. A Montessori elementary education is truly different than what most of us parents have learned from the traditional school experience. Come see why elementary here is all together different and all together wonderful. Miss Emily can coordinate your visit and will take you through the visit just as she has for so many of us when we visited first as junior and toddler parents. 20 Minute Class Visits - 20 minutes visiting lower elementary grades 1 through 3 in Miss Annie Gray’s Room - 20 minutes visiting upper elementary grades 4 through 6 in Miss Annie O’Farrell’s Room February Classroom Visits being offered February 24 & February 25 at the following times: 1. 9-9:20am 2. 9:30-9:50am 3. 10-10:20am Please contact Miss Emily to schedule class visits.
