To the Parents/ Carers of children in R1 Mrs Spooner’s class.
I am writing to give you as much information as I can whilst Mrs
Spooner is absent. During any long term absence we try our very best
to provide continuity for the children with known and trusted staff. In
this instance, the teachers working with the children will be Mrs
Chamberlain, Mrs Bisset & Mrs Walkden. All three teachers are highly
experienced Infant practitioners and are very experienced in working
as part of an early years team. Mrs Walkden is currently assessing the
children’s phonic knowledge in order to make sure that the books and
sounds that are sent home are correct so please have a look in your
child’s reading bag over the next few days.
We will have to postpone parents evening for R1 until Mrs Spooner
returns but as soon as it has been rearranged, we will write to you
inviting you in for a meeting. In the mean time if you have any
concerns, please feel free to talk to any of the teachers mentioned
above.
