TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER
GIBB (Pty) Ltd invites tenders on behalf of the South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited
(SANRAL), to undertake Stage 1 and Stage 3 Road Safety Audit Services for the above project.
This project is located in the province of the Eastern Cape in the Buffalo City Metropolitan area. The
approximate programme is for design and construction documentation to be completed by August 2015
followed by supervision of 36 months, commencing January 2016.
Stage 1 and 3 road safety audits will be required on the proposed King Williams Town Bypass, the N2 from
Bulembu Airport to King Williams Town, the new Zwelitsha Interchange and the R63 from King Williams
Town to Bhisho.
Tenderers must note that the period between the Stage 1 and Stage 3 audits has not been determined.
GIBB (Pty) Ltd as the Employer’s Agent is committed to transformation, employment equity and staff
advancement and to supporting black economic empowerment.
The appointed service provider will be required to enter into a Sub-Consultant Agreement with GIBB (Pty)
Ltd, submit a comprehensive Risk Assessment and OHS Plan and also enter into a Section 37/2
agreement.
