apostilled again.
Documents obtaining procedure
You need to visit a notary to get copies of birth certificates and other documents certified.
Also you make a Statement regarding your civil status (marital status) proving you are
currently not married.
Further, all documents must be apostilled at the Ministry of Justice in your city. After that, you
are going to a licensed translator or translation agency with all the documents, to get them
translated into Spanish. Next step is going back to the notary to have the translator's
signature assured. Afterwards, Ministry of Justice will apostille your translated documents.
Make a colored scan of the mentioned documents in high resolution and actual size
and send them by e-mail as soon as possible, preferably few months before the wedding.
Without these documents, Dominican Marriage Registry Office doesn't set the date and time
of the wedding ceremony.
Dominican Registry office sets the official fee of marriages registration for the foreigners
including Judge’s presence on the beach at RD $ 20,000 ($ 520).
Besides, you can select the date of the wedding ceremony, but Judge sets the time and it
cannot be changed.
After you provide us all the necessary documents, we legalize it in the Dominican Republic
and book the day of your ceremony.
After marriage registration, we obtain marriage certificate, legalize it at the Central Registry
