Program Mission
Statement
Orange Coast College’s
Career Services Department
offers a variety of services to
the Career and Technical
Education (CTE) students,
faculty and business
community. The program
provides assessment testing,
career exploration, job
placement, internships, job
fairs, advisory board support,
instructional support, grant
support, course articulation,
pathway days and marketing
on campus.

Computer Access. 67.4 % of
students were extremely satisfied
with the services and resource
provided.
Faculty evaluates Career Services
on support of CTE instructional
programs. Results: VTEA and
Tech Prep has provided high
school students with
opportunities to explore Aviation
Pilot Training, Professional
Mariners, Allied Health and
Architecture Pathways. Students
are provided information and
access to the campus, programs,
registration and support services.
Additional staff and resources
would allow the department to
expand the efforts.
