OLP CHRISTIAN ACTION COMMITTEE FOOD DRIVE –
Special need for Condensed milk, breakfast cereal, mac
and cheese, soups, peanut butter and jelly. Next collection

OLP HOLY HOUR FOR VOCATIONS – Come pray with
your fellow parishioners for Priestly Vocations. We have
our first parishioner seminarian Joey Cwik entering his
second year of seminary this fall. The harvest is plenty but
the laborers are few! Please pray for young men to discern
a vocation to the priesthood. With so much negative press
about a small number of priests we must support those
considering the priesthood with our prayers and let it be
known that we do have wonderful faithful men who serve
God and His flock devotedly. Each month on the
Thursday before First Friday we will have a
VOCATIONS HOLY HOUR.

CELEBRATE THE ASUMPTION OF MARY at an outdoor
Vigil Mass in the Lourdes Grotto of the Franciscan
Monastery of the Holy Land, Aug. 14, 7 p.m. Music
provided by the St. Anthony of Padua parish choir. The

LA REINE HIGH SCHOOL REUNION
La Reine High School Class of 1975 is planning a 40 th
reunion in the summer of 2015. If you are a graduate,

QUO VADIS EXCURSION DAY
A great day of canoeing in Southern Maryland on Sunday,
September 14, for young men in high school. Meet at St.
Peter Claver Church, 16922 St. Peter Claver Rd., St.
Inigoes, at 10 AM for a great day of canoeing, sports, fun,
outdoor Mass, lunch, talks, cookout dinner. The day ends

THE MID_MARYLAND MISSION OF MERCY & HEALTH
EQUITY FESTIVAL Sept. 4-6, 2014 at the COMCAST
Center on the University of Maryland College Park
Campus. Join hundreds of volunteers – dentists,
hygienists and community members – to provide 1,000
people in dire need with $1 Million dollars’ worth of FREE

THE MARY OF NAZARETH SCHOOL COTILLION
PROGRAM in its thirteenth year of offering an introduction
to ballroom dancing and social grace training for eighth
grade boys and girls. Students enjoy the opportunity to
learn basic dance steps and etiquette skills from
professional instructors. The program consists of five
Saturday sessions from 6:30pm – 8:30pm that include
9/13, 9/27, 10/18, 10/25 and 11/1 and is held at Mary of
Nazareth School located at 14131 Seneca Road,
Darnestown, Maryland. The fee for the series is $200 and
