Thank you!
Thank you to all the volunteers who donated their time
and food donations to help with the Dieciséis de
Septiembre Celebration! We could not have pulled off
the event without you!
Party for Best Classroom Attendance
Starting Thursday September 24th through Thursday, October
8th it is extremely vital that all Magonistas are in class before
8:25 am. RFMA will be having a contest to see which
classroom has the HIGHEST ATTENDANCE RATE! The
classroom with the highest attendance rate will win a PARTY!
Movie Night for Middle School Students
On October 1st from 5:10 PM to 7:10 PM the Middle School
Student Council will be hosting a "Movie Night" for Middle
school students ONLY in the RFMA gym. We will be showing
"World War Z" rated PG-13. The purpose is to fundraise to
create a Haunted House at the end of October. The price of
admission is $1.00 and concessions will be sold. Parents must
sign an additional movie permission slip in order to participate
in the movie night. Have fun and support the Middle School
Student Council!
Spots Available
We currently have one or two spots available in every grade,
except for 2nd and 7th grade. We work to fill these spots until
the final week of September. If you have friends or family who
would like an opportunity to bring their students to a high
achieving, college preparatory charter academy, now is the
time. Contact the front office as soon as possible before every
spot is filled!

**All Magonistas must be dressed in appropriate attire
throughout the entire week. Any Magonista that is dressed
inappropriately will be asked to call home and must wear the
school uniform for the day. **
CU Pre-Collegiate Informational Night
CU Pre-Collegiate Informational Night (ONLY class of
2020 and 2021!) on Tuesday, September 29th from
4:45pm - 5:45pm. Please attend in order to receive
information regarding the CU pre-collegiate program as
well as receive applications for the program. Snacks
and Childcare will be available.
Interim Assessments are coming
We would like to remind our families that the Interim
Assessment session will take place from 10/5 through
10/8. Attendance is mandatory. Please schedule your
child’s dentist and doctor’s appointments before or after that
week
Mile High World Hoop Day
Magonistas are invited to attend Mile High World Hoop
Day on Saturday, Oct. 3rd. Any Magonista wearing an
RFMA shirt will receive FREE ADMISSION
(accompanying adult admission will be only $2.) Mile High
World Hoop Day is an exciting hula hooping festival that
will feature performances, classes & workshops, raffles,
face painting, food sales, and hula hoop giveaways!

RFMA's Cross Country team ran their hearts out
at Thomas Jefferson HS last night. Many of our
Magonistas broke their own personal records
again! Congratulations to our Cross Country
Team and Coach Betancourt!
RFMA's Football team lost in a heart-breaker to
Strive Prep Sunnyside 24-18 last night.
RFMA's Volleyball team (still undefeated) plays
Strive Prep Sunnyside tonight, Thursday
September 24th, at 5:30 in the RFMA Gym.
