1) Researching Ancient Roman inventions and technological advancements
2) Presenting this information in a Newspaper style format to a small group (as well as handing in a copy to me in colour)
Ancient Rome was a very advanced society for its time due to the inventions that came from that people group.
Here are a few examples:

Some of the Laws we still have today
Some holidays and customs
The welfare system
Aqueducts
Concrete/cement
Julian Calendar
Roads/Highways
Bound books

Complete some research on Ancient Roman inventions/contributions/advancements/technologies.
2.
Narrow those down to 5 that really interest you or you have found solid information for.
3.
Become an expert on those 5 by answering these questions specifically:
A. Why was there a need for this invention at that time? B. What role did this play in helping shape Ancient Roman society? C. Do we, here in Canada, see elements of this invention being used still in some form?
4.
Pick a Newspaper Word Template which I have provided for you on my Socials www. Save it to your Google Drive so you can edit/add to it anywhere.
5.
Start adding your captions, titles, pictures, descriptions and answers to those questions. Personalize the
Newspaper to your tastes!
6.
Present your Newspaper to a small group and then hand in a copy to Mr. Lockington on: ____________________
